Who We Are
Mission and History
The Richmond Public Library Foundation is a nonprofit organization that contributes advocacy, resources, and financial support to Richmond’s public library to further its goal to provide quality library services and programs to the citizens of Richmond.
The RPLF was established in 2004 in response to deep cuts in service at the Richmond Public Library. Our volunteer board of directors (see below) meets monthly and comprises Richmond residents, business leaders, as well as the Director of the Richmond Public Library.
Board of Directors
The RPLF Board draws together community and business leaders who bring a wealth of experience, talent, and resources to our organization. To learn more about the governance of RPLF, please contact Michelle Milam, at MMilam[at]richmondpd.net
