Sandi Genser-Maack Speaker Series

Betty Reid Soskin, a ranger with the National Park Service, assigned to the Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park, is one of the first guests in our Speaker Series.

The Sandi Genser-Maack Lecture Series has been established to honor the dedication and support that Sandi had for the library. As the founding member of the board and it’s first president, she set an example for creative thought and tolerance for diverse and provocative ideas.

Hence, our speakers will come from a wide range of talents and backgrounds and will engage in discussions that challenge conventional thought and celebrates the diversity among us.

The series commenced in June 2018. The dates and presenters scheduled for 2020 are below.

Unless otherwise announced, all lectures will take place at the Whittlesy Room of the Richmond Public Library, 325 Civic Center Plaza. Richmond, CA. 94804.
